Getting started

How do I register as a merchant?
Click "Get Started" on the homepage or visit /signup. Enter your name, business email and a strong password. You'll then complete a short business profile (business name, country, bank account) which we use to auto-create your Paystack subaccount. Approval usually takes under 24 hours.
How do I create my QRPayLink account?
Three steps: 1. Sign up with name + email + password. 2. Add your business name and country (Ghana or Nigeria). 3. Add your settlement bank account — this is where Paystack settles your funds. Once approved, you can start accepting payments immediately.
Do I need any documents to start?
Not to sign up. To get approved you'll need a valid bank account in Ghana or Nigeria. For higher transaction limits, Paystack may ask for KYC documents (business registration, ID).

Receiving payments

How do I receive payments?
From your dashboard go to "Receive". You can either display your dynamic QR code (customer enters the amount) or create a fixed-amount payment link. Share the link via WhatsApp, SMS, or print the QR at your till.
How do QR payments work?
Your customer scans your QR with their phone camera. They land on a secure Paystack-hosted page, choose Card, Bank Transfer, USSD or Mobile Money, and pay. You see the payment confirmed in your dashboard within seconds.
Can I share QR codes and payment links?
Yes — every payment link has a "Share" button that copies the URL or opens WhatsApp/SMS pre-filled. You can also download your dynamic QR as a PNG and print it.
Does it work without my customer having the QRPayLink app?
Yes. Customers don't need any app — they pay using their normal mobile-money wallet, bank app, or card. Only merchants need a QRPayLink account.

Payouts & withdrawals

How do I withdraw my money?
Funds settle automatically to your registered bank account on a T+2 basis (two working days after payment). For mobile-money withdrawals in Ghana, go to Wallet → Withdraw, choose MTN/Vodafone/AirtelTigo and confirm. Instant mobile-money payout adds 1% on top of the 3.5% platform fee.
How long do transfers take?
Bank settlements: T+2 (two working days, standard Paystack settlement cycle). Mobile-money instant payouts: usually under 5 minutes. Incoming customer payments: confirmed instantly.
Why is my balance "pending"?
Pending balance = payments received but not yet settled to your bank. It moves to Available after the T+2 settlement window. This is a Paystack process — it protects against chargebacks.

Countries & currencies

Which countries are supported?
Ghana and Nigeria — with native support for local bank rails, mobile money and currencies. We're expanding to other African markets next.
What currencies are supported?
GHS (Ghanaian Cedi), NGN (Nigerian Naira) and USD. Settlement currency is set per merchant during onboarding.
Can I accept international cards?
Yes. International Visa and Mastercard cards work through Paystack. USD payments may be subject to additional foreign-exchange charges by your bank.

Fees & security

How much are the fees?
3.5% all-in per successful transaction. This is one flat fee that includes payment processing (Paystack costs absorbed by QRPayLink), QR generation, hosted checkout and dashboard tools. No setup fee, no monthly subscription. Optional +1% for instant mobile-money payout.
Is QRPayLink secure?
Yes. Every connection uses TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS). Passwords are stored with bcrypt and never visible to anyone — not even our engineers. Authentication uses HttpOnly cookies (no XSS exposure). Card data never touches our servers — Paystack handles it on PCI-DSS Level 1 infrastructure.
Are there any hidden charges?
No. The 3.5% fee is everything. We absorb Paystack's processing fee and pass on the simple one-line cost. The only optional add-on is +1% if you choose instant mobile-money withdrawal.

I lost access to my account. What do I do?
Email support@qrpaylink.com from the email address registered on your QRPayLink account. We'll verify your identity and help you regain access. Never share your password with anyone, including QRPayLink staff.
